Rachel KHOO

Rachel Khoo is a best-selling food writer, cook and television presenter who is on a search for moments of joy and indulgence both in and out of the kitchen.

HAVING STUDIED ART AND DESIGN AT CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS, IT WAS HER ATTENDANCE OF A THREE-MONTH PATISSERIE COURSE AT LE CORDON BLEU IN PARIS IN 2006 WHICH PERSUADED KHOO TO START A CAREER IN THE KITCHEN. THESE CLASSICAL ORIGINS ARE PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR RACHEL’S CHARACTERISTIC LOVE FOR INDULGENT, RICH FOOD WHICH HAS THE POWER TO BRING ULTIMATE SATISFACTION.

She has since written six books, which have been translated internationally and hosted numerous cooking shows across multiple networks including the BBC, the Food Network and Netflix. She was recently a judge on the Great Australian Bake Off (2023) with the newest series airing later this year. Rachel is also an ambassador for Women’s Aid.

Rachel also has over 408k followers on Instagram. From a helpful lipstick hack to her latest buttery obsession, her growing Instagram allows Rachel to extend her light and laissez-faire approach to indulgence beyond just the edible. She has worked with Ikea, Jo Malone, Ritz Carlton, BBC Good Food, as well as a judge at the San Pellegrino Young Chef Awards.

Rachel has an essential curiosity about food cultures around the world. Being of mixed heritage herself and having lived abroad in various countries since childhood, Rachel brings an awareness of the international to her cooking and eating. For now, the ‘cosmopolitan cook’ is based in Sweden, where she lives with her husband and three young children, but frequently works in the UK and Australia.
