Julius is a filmmaker-turned-recipe creator on a clear mission: to promote an unprocessed, more natural approach to plant-based food - for the health of both people and planet.

HIS STUNNINGLY EXECUTED VIDEOS, WATCHED BY A COMBINED AUDIENCE OF MORE THAN 2.2 MILLION, ARE PACKED WITH TECHNIQUES FOR MASTERING NATURAL VEGAN DISHES; DISHES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD THAT ARE NOT ONLY SUSTAINABLE BUT, INCORPORATED INTO A MORE CONSCIOUS LIFESTYLE, COULD ONE DAY ENHANCE THE BIODIVERSITY OF THE WORLD AROUND US.

Moving to the UK from Germany in 2017, Julius’s career in food began in earnest during the COVID pandemic - hosting sourdough baking classes under the name ‘Baking Hermann’. He then went on to become Jamie’s lead food stylist at Jamie Oliver HQ, before deciding to focus on his own food channels. 

His videos garner millions of views across Instagram (1.2M followers), TikTok (760k followers, 14.5M likes) and now YouTube (65k subscribers), where only last month he launched an exciting new series, ‘Vegan Cultures’.

Alongside posting his own recipes, Julius has collaborated with other health and food creators such as Tim Spector (@tim.spector) and Max La Manna (@maxllamanna).

He is a proud Ambassador for Slow Food, and is working on his first book.
